The Garage: the parts wiki

Every part in the game with its real numbers, pulled from the same catalog the server uses. When the balance changes, this changes.

Figures are for the FACTORY version; green, blue and purple are earned by racing.

Chassis

The skeleton of the car: weight, dimensions and the bay where the engine of your dreams has to fit.

30 parts

Engine block

The heart: displacement and torque curve. It defines the engine’s character before any other part.

27 parts

Engine internals

Pistons, rods and crankshaft: they decide how high the engine can rev before begging for mercy.

24 parts

Camshaft

It shifts torque across the rev range: low, mid or top end. The favourite part of anyone who tunes by range.

19 parts

Intake

How the engine breathes: more air at mid and high revs, where straights are won.

25 parts

Exhaust

How it exhales: it fine-tunes torque across the whole range and gives the engine its voice.

23 parts

ECU

The electronic brain: where the rev limiter cuts, and how far it lets you stretch each gear.

23 parts

Gearbox

The ratios that turn torque into speed. Every brand spaces its gears its own way.

15 parts

Tires

The only contact with the tarmac. Everything else is theory.

18 parts

Brakes

The force that lets you brake later than the guy next to you. That’s where corners are won.

25 parts

Aero

Downforce: high-speed grip in exchange for drag. Also the most envied part in parc fermé.

24 parts

Bodywork

The skin of the car — and its aerodynamics. The Closed ↔ Loaded control decides where you spend the air: closed is faster down the straight, loaded plants the car in fast corners. Every brand dresses its own.

20 parts

Suspension

It decides how much grip you actually get to use. A suspension that keeps the wheel pinned to the road lets you cash in the tyre you already paid for: faster through corners and shorter braking, on the very same rubber. And it gives you the Soft ↔ Firm window to pick the feel. In Carland it’s built by specialists: Gester and Regina.

14 parts

Electronics

On-board telemetry: how much your own car tells you. Knowing is tuning.
